800-9
They expect lightness from me
Without stoking up the problems —
The question of urgent primacy
We’ll put off for now,
Or let them burn however they burn.
We skip the lesson and don’t go to school.
A break can be taken,
Even to laugh at the trouble —
It is not so alarming,
When for now we rest a little,
And tomorrow roll up our sleeves
And take hold of it firmly.
Woe — to forget the calamity,
To even stop praying,
Better to drink to the brim
Of bitter acid-poison,
Than to end up a traitor.
