I have put the Bible aside for a while,
I rarely go to church —
It does not mean at all that faith has died in me,
I place my hope in God.

I sort through what I received before,
Time to sort myself out,
Watching the news,
Watching the poles among the people.

Preachers behind pulpits
Offer a vatnik teaching.
I avoid being zombified by slander,
I long for the Holy Spirit’s leading.
