Jesus of Nazareth — for the world a deceiver,
A fantasy, an invention, a myth,
A dispute among the young and the older,
Piety and humiliating laughter.

They seek the Master of the Universe everywhere,
On continents and on islands,
Everywhere it is lonely and crowded,
And so in the air, on the seas and in the seas.

Christ and Buddha,
The God of Moses and Zeus
Have helped more than one generation —
Earthlings were wrapped in the care of the heavens.
There, where it would seem a trap,
For a son it is hard without a father,
Without the Creator for a creation.
