653-9
Alas, borders are marked with blood,
Not forever and not for eternity.
Neighborliness with love does not work out,
Though mountains and rivers try —
Isolating one’s own and the foreign,
They make peace for a TIME,
Until hatred grows,
To shove the ridges and shift the mouths.
And the planet from a distance looks unified.
Among other cosmic bodies
With its nature, including the human —
Lem’s Solaris with its contradictions.
