He smothered ants,
Stole in the store,
Smashed neighbors’ windows,
Lied to his parents.
Went through mistresses,
Fell in love with untruth,
Robbed what was not his,
Headed a gang.

Bought the courts,
Spawned corruption,
Seized the posts,
Raped the constitution.
The people envied him,
Took him as an example.
To such a leprosy
The whole country grew used.

They break every commandment,
Hate one another,
Threaten and intimidate,
Don’t notice the hungry.
Everything for the flesh,
There is no God for them,
And then they wonder —
Where did the war come from?
