Pilfered — lost a piece of the soul,
Seized it — burned one’s own salvation,
Defended an orphan — God praised,
Insulted — touched the apple of His eye.

Armed with instructive experience
In the maturity attained
Conscience and scruple will prompt
How to reach eternity.
