Gifts are brought for two reasons:
Gratitude or a bribe.
Among all peoples and in all countries
A gift asks and thanks.

The grateful thank, the grabbers ask,
They thank the good, they flatter the wicked.
A gift will please, will relieve the tension,
The hard and cruel will become soft.

Who gives to others and does not take,
Having helped with good, goes after the next,
That one gains honor among people and with God,
Places a deposit in the heavenly account.
