459-7
Like an ant that blew on a planet,
And it whirled around its axis —
That’s how the poet itched to say it,
So everyone would clap at once.
Effect and cause
Cannot switch places.
There is an order, an age-old pattern.
Society shapes the human,
Under God, though godless —
Whether they honor the law or break it.
Reaches toward heaven to rule the world,
Tramples the Earth as its owner.
Are they our parents, or we their children?
Is fire more important, or the extinguisher?
