(Dedicated to Bohdan Smolyak.
To the wisdom of his observations)

There is a pull to forget oneself, to leap into paradise.
Here is the powder — sniff and rejoice.
For a time I leave the body,
Take me, for I am no longer my own.

And indeed they hurry to make use of the soul,
Satan loves it differently than God:
He allows the mutilated one to return
Into a dishonored body, full of anxieties.

For the blessings of temptations one must pay:
I abandon my duties — I steal into the sky.
Driven by the spirit to serve the body,
As I tried — I will put it in a report.
