425-9
Grievances. Rodents of souls.
Not so much of others as of their own owners.
“Let them repent, but don’t you touch me!”
And who is the unhappiest among the quarrel’s participants?
I.
Because the complaints come from me.
I am dissatisfied.
Justice sleeps, they ignore me.
With such a burden, will I last till pension?
One hope: in heaven they write everything, know and hear.
They hear and know.
And they wait as well
Until I learn to forgive.
They endure till harvest.
For the One on the mountain, who forgave us,
Plans to save only those who forgive.
