With dried banana slices,
Stacked in layers, like waffles,
Fried in butter,
Thin crusts
Prepared at high temperature,
Slightly stewed in the oven,

With a somewhat raw potato, among themselves
Bryndza with a bit of garlic and flour,
As if with salt, dusted,
Switched on for about ten minutes,
With the skin, moderately crispy

I didn’t want to share with anyone —
It ate so deliciously:
And toward morning it just had to appear in a dream.
I’d never tasted it, but I wanted it so much.
