367-8
He took what was another’s — grew rich,
Seized the earthly under his care.
Turned property into money,
Tore at it as he knew how,
Until the age was done.
He gained glory, became a politician —
Reigned
Over peoples,
But did not consider
That he was robbing himself,
Even headed for heaven
After rewards.
He stole from everyone,
And most of all from himself.
But he could not steal
Neither God nor heaven.
