Alone in thought — accord,
In dialogue — dispute,
From a third — the reward of clarity,
Where four — a well-trodden path:

They made a racket, scattered things.
Raised a ruckus, played the fool,
Why they had gathered,
What they had talked about —
They did not even recall.
But it was fun.

Whether after amusement or after learning,
In classrooms or outside of schools
The thinker hunts for a thought,
The troublemaker — for gags.
