336-9
I sculpt God from clay,
I cut Him from stone,
I WHITTLE Him from WOOD —
A need for the real.
I look for Him in the thunderstorm,
In the sun and in the moon,
In length and in weight,
In emptiness and in quantity.
At the point of intersection
He said to me,
Having come inside:
“Well done, that you sought.”
