I could not fall asleep — slept badly,
Threw off the blanket,
Was too lazy to get up
To adjust
The thermostat
By one degree.

So no mishap would happen,
To avoid losses,
I would have driven laziness off,
If I were running
Barefoot to the cellar to save myself
And look after my family,

I feel guilty
In the bosom of God,
For someone cannot sleep —
The alert is waking them.
