239-9
The spurred world after the Big Bang
Flies as stars from stars,
Receding from them.
Avoiding chaos, it holds the rank.
Tearing apart,
Yet remaining whole.
From primitive clarity,
That everything is in fog,
To the rebus of communion
Of intellect in contest…
From dogs to the snail,
To the foundations from the peak,
From the Babylonian overseer
To a wife’s appraisal.
