236-7
The body and thoughts of the lazy wither.
A man grows depressed in stagnations without change,
He is not used to resting constantly,
And the laws of life will remind him of motion.
An abandoned knife will rust,
And bread will go stale —
Eat it already.
Expect alarm in idleness.
Motion keeps the soul and the body.
For motion
The spirit cares.
It advances
And pulls back.
It holds a vigorous tone securely
In the building of bridges and barricades.
