I am the word among I-banknotes,
I-icons and I-houses,
I-Images and I-things,
I-architectures
And I-overtures,
Among I-shepherds
And I-rams.

The word is eternal,
Of farewell and of meeting,
It has healed and it maims,
It began and it ends.
It ends so as to begin,
Dies so as to rise.

They flee from hatred toward love,
To be caught up in its embrace,
I am in the word.
Hunter after it, and caught by it.
