Why is the slain more pleasing to God
Than the slayer?
And the one who fled, so as to live,
Was left for dessert?

The children of Cain
And of his brothers
Will mix together.
Exactly HOW, we do not know.
Whether someone wanted it, or did not —
In good and in evil
They too will be recognized.

Guaranteed
By a greater chance
To please the Owner,
As the commandments also propose, —
To come to terms with Him
In obedience, in advance.
