180-2
We are not slaves, and we are Jews
Thanks to Sarah.
She is Isaac’s mother.
But Hagar’s too,
Our own mother’s
Honor we will not let be trampled.
Pagans,
Christians,
The lost tribes of Abraham
As tribes scattered through the world,
Hindus and savages,
And we – Jews with you.
Father of nations, God’s good man,
A comer from beyond the river,
As promised, he multiplied the children.
You cannot deny the tidings —
Every one is called a Jew.
