We each go our own road
With parallels and crossings,
Carefree and with anxiety,
With deceivers and with the honest.

With bridges and tunnels,
Over abysses and fording.
Sad and merry.
We lead or we follow.

May the road end someday,
Only not in a dead end,
But that we find ourselves in the Creator’s glory,
Having parted forever from evil.
