I did not understand. Again.
God called me to absurd things.
How to believe His Word
And not incur shame among people?

I do not want my wife to turn away again,
The brothers in church to take me apart again,
To re-educate me in long conversations,
Convert me to truths long known,
How one must live, where one must go.

I did not understand. I will have to again
Walk a long time around the mountain.
If I do not trust in God’s Word –
I will be late myself, and they with me.
