A Black man’s idea
Will serve a white man too.
They ask of the left
When the right hand cannot.
Christ or Buddha
Taught the truths.
I will not argue —
They led us to heaven.
Of the laws of Moses
Both of them spoke.
Except that they bowed
In different ways.
